Hello,
I am new to this and hope I am in the right place. If not just tell me or
give me a link to where i can go to get help for my question. I want to get
MCP Certified in windows xp pro I dont want to get the full MCSE right now
just the MCP. What tutorials and where do you recommend to go for free ones
or fairly cheep ones to study and then take the MCP Windows xp pro test.
Thanks again for your time and help.

probably ms press self-study guide is the cheap one.
exam 70-270.

good luck

boomer32,

I'd think a used copy of the MS Press 70-270 book would be inexpensive enough. The exam will most likely still cost you $125, so I'd consider spending a few dollars to prepare rather than have to pay for it twice.

As long as you got some experience with XP Pro and know some Server stuff, like AD. The MS Press book should be plenty to pass the 70-270.

If you google for 70-270 practice tests you should come across a lot of sites that offer small free tests. I think the MS Press book comes with the Learnkey practice exams too. Can't remember if it was 270 or my MCSE Pack I bought that had them.
