windows xp pro and office 97 question

I have recently installed windows xp pro on a pc and have also installed office 97. The problem I have is, I can't get the office shortcut bar to show. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is an alternative to the shortcut bar (Office 2003 problem).
