Windows XP Num Lock Problem

Hi,
I have a problem where a user would like Num Lock to stay on when his PC boots up. They have Num Lock set on in the BIOS but it goes off just prior to login. The primary network login is the Novell client.

Not life threatening but any help would be appreciated.
