I have installed the Netgear client on 4 different machines, and they all work fine connecting to the FVS328 Firewall.
On two machines, the client software installs, and promptly dies on startup for no appearent reason I can see.
This only happens so far as I can tell with Windows XP Professional.
Besically, I get a prosafe Icon in the lower right corner with the red line through it.
No matter what I do, the thing won't startup and and in the event files it tells me that the IPsec plugin won't startup.
So I can define policies and save them but cannot activate them.
I am thinking it might be a hot fix issue, so I am going to uninstall all the hotfixes on these two machines and try reinstalling the client.
