A new winddows XP freezes when unloading btrieve (brequest) with butil -stop. This does not happen on all XP's, just the new one we bought this week.

Windows XP locks up when running butil -stop

A few questions:
- What version of Btrieve are you using?
- How do you fix the freeze?
- Is there any activity on the system?
- Does your version of BREQUEST support the "/u" parameter (to unload it)? If so, does it show the same behavior?

We are running Pervasive Btrieve 7.0
The application that freezes in running in a dos box. We click on the X to close the box
We are only running this one program on the workstation. A lot is going on on the server.
