Windows XP keyboard language startup 1

Hi,

I have recently changed to a french keyboard Xp was installed with an english keyboard. Though i hvave changed the keyboard seetings (and deleted english keyboard) the welcome screen is still based on the english keyboard?

How do i change it so the welcome sceen is french keyboard layout

You need the MUI, which is not cheap:

In the alternative, have a Canadian or French friend purchase a true localized French version of XP.

Checked. Because of the rollout of service pack 2 for XP, any Microsoft site at the moment is likely to be very slow or possibly fail.
