I am trying to install AutoCad 2000 on my computer that has an operating system of Windows XP Home Edition. AutoCad 2000 was designed to run with Windows 95 and Windows 98. I was successful on another computer with Windows XP Pro by running the program compatability Wizard and telling AutoCad 2000 to install as if it had Windows 95. When I try this on my Home Edition computer I get an error when I open the Program Compatability Wizard. It says there is an error running scripts on the page. I tell it to continue running scripts and then it tells me that the buttons are not objects. I can see the outline of the Next, Finish, etc. buttons, but when I click on them the script error box pops up continuously. Where should I go for help with this, or is there another way to install this old software with my new windows? Please help! Thanks.
