We have 6 computers with Windows XP/2000 OS. I have Installed a CISCO PIX Firewall 501 preconfiguired with ADSL router by an ISP. After Installing the client I did managed to login to Terminal/Citrix server. Now I am not sure how to transfer my mail box & document from lacal machine to citrix server so I can transfer it to Mr X mail box and word document etc in the CITRIX Server. Can someone tell me the best way to do it. Thanks. Why it called TERMINAL/CITRIX SERVER.

For e-mail, all you need do is point the e-mail client within the user's session to their mailbox and you will be good to go.

For documents, I would advise storing them on a separate file server where they can be backed up. You can point the My Documents folder out of the user's local profile to a user location or home directory on the file server using Group Policies. This should also help speed up login time.

Terminal Services is the software that Microsoft bought from Citrix. It is the heart of a terminal server, and Citrix MetaFrame cannot work without it - MetaFrame is an extension to the base Operating system.

I hope this helps

Thanks,
On the citrix server the V$client is for the local workstation drive. I pointed the email and documents on to that particular drive and everything is fine. Thank you for the help.
