Windows Server 2003

I am running Win2003 Server on my home network. I have just recently installed it. After it was up and online
it started getting an RPC call error. System shut down.
I reinstalled software doset make a differance. Its a multi honed system. DSL comes in and then it feeds the d-link router through the wan port from there. Does any one have any ideas what may be causing the error? Please e-mail if so thank you.

Did you get infected before you patached your system with windows update? Sounds like you might have caught welchia or something similar

Yeah i agree with faithless!! Sounds like blaster or welchia. I found the removal tool from symantec works pretty well. Good Luck!
