Windows Server 2003 R2 IAS RADIUS Authentication Failure

In the past, I have successfully configured PIX firewalls to authenticate to IAS. I accomplished this by simply following the configuration guide provided by Cisco.

I am now trying to get a PIX 506e to authenticate to IAS running on Windows Server 2003 R2. I have followed the configuration guide for the PIX as well as IAS but I am getting authentication failures. I have reviewed the configs until I'm blue faced but I have not been able to resolve the problem.

I'm not sure if the problem is related to R2 but I would appreciate any insight that anyone can provide.

I would especially appreciate troubleshooting guideance so that I can pinpoint the source of this problem.

Have you checked the logs on the Win2k3 server with IAS? That should give you a hint if there is a problem with your connection request policies.

Also you have set up your PIX as an IAS client, yes?
