OK, i have my 2003 server setup with AD, DHCP,DNS ect...

my computers are connected through a central switch. The dhcp gives the DNS address of 192.168.1.121 out to all the client computers. When i disconnect the server, no one can surf the web unless they have an IP of the site.. that.. is fine because that’s what should happen

but now, shouldn’t there be a place that i can look at the hits or the name resolutions?? so i can see who when were or a list of places that people have gown to??

i think my DNS forwards all the queries on to my default gateway though, and the names end up being resolved by adelphias name server.. so im not sure if i am actually logging anything..

but if i am.. i go to DNS, but were do i look??

are you thinking about cached lookups? this folder is available in the DNS manager if you have selected View --> Advanced. yes, you will see folders for .com, .biz, .net, ect, ect. there will be listings of domains resolved and the name servers within.
