I am trying to install Windows Small Business Server to a machine using an Asus P4S800D-E Deluxe MB, 2 Maxtor 200GB SATA HDs (RAID 1), P4 2.8GHz, 1GB Kingston DDR. I do not have the RAID 1 setup yet, so I am trying to install SBS on one drive at present. Setup files were copied quickly to about 55%, now they are installing very slowly, like one file every 10 minutes. Anyone have any suggestions or cold tell me what is going on? Any and all help is appreciated.

I would suspect drive controller drivers. Make sure you get the latest set from ASUS for the Server OS and tell Windows setup to use them with F6 at the start of setup.
