Dear Friends,

There seems to have some problem with my windows XP.

It just shows a message like "Security Problem....windows will restart in some time...save all your work" and starts counting from 60...59...58.........0 and gets restarted.

Can anyone help me to get rid of this problem?

Thanks in Advance.

Anil

Sounds like a virus. Are you running an Anti-Virus program?

".........0 and gets restarted"

Does it restart and then it's OK, or does it keep restarting?

It is blaster.

You need to both fix the problem and patch your system to avoid repeat infections.

Note: you need to stop the shutdown of your computer that blaster causes in order to access the internet and clean your machine and download and apply the security fix.

As soon as you see the message, right click the Start button, Run, type into the box shutdown -A and hit the OK button to run the command. This will stop the blaster shutdown and allow you to use the internet.
