If you were to install NT 4 on a workstation in an Active Directory enviroment what features do you lose? (Apposed to going with Windows 2000 on a workstation?)

1. (And it's a big one) You will have to use an NTCONFIG.POL created in policy editor instead of relying on group policy objects.

2. You will not be able to use Computer Management to perform remote operations on machines (some functions will work - services, users & groups for example, but others will not - device manager, disk manager, system information).

3. Hardware just installs SO much nicer in 2000.

4. Are you going to end up upgrading this system to 2000 a little while down the road anyway?
