Windows Messenger - need to see my password

Hi Everyone,

I have completely forgotten my hotmail account info and would like to get it back.

My one glimmer of hope is that I used this account for Windows Messenger and I'm automatically signed in when I open the program.

Are there any features in Windows Messenger that let you see what your password is?

I dont believe so.

You can contact Microsoft and they can tell you your passport ID and password if you have forgotten it.
Go to the Hotmail page and there should be a contact button or a "I forgot my password" button. You can follow a few steps and they'll email you a new password to an account you want.

Thanks Captain,

I did start on that path, and one of their suggestions was to check your passport to see if maybe you had told your pc to automatically save it. I hadn't for that, but did for messenger but it still doesn't seem to help.

I'll post the solution if I have any luck!
