Windows Media Player 10 Won't Play DVD - needs Decoder

Hello to all...

I attempting to play a regular DVD with Windows Media Player 10 and each time I receive the following error:

Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer

Any ideas? PC is running Windows XP Pro, SP1 and has all updates/hotfixes. Is there a decoder for Windows XP that I can download?

You can install K-Lite codec pack. It includes many codecs including Cyberlink DVD decoder.

MP Classic is excellent small video player software with built-in DVD decoder, so you can play DVD's without installing any codecs.
