Ok, here is my problem. I have 3 PC's on a peer-peer, 2 of them have windows 2000 and one unfortunately has windows me. I work for a non-profit agency, so upgrading is not really an option right now. Anyway, I can see all the computers from all the machines but when I try to print from the windows 2000 machines to the printer hooked up to the windows me machine, it takes about 3 minutes for it to print, and it freezes whatever program i am trying to print from until it prints. Also when i try to browse the network from one of the windows 2000 machines it takes forever to show all the computers. Any suggestions???

have you tried connecting printer to win2k machine instead?
on slow network - lots of posts on these forums - have you had a look at any? (I know connections between win9x/ME machines and win2k/XP machines can be slower than 9x/Me to 9x/ME and 2k/XP to 2k/XP, but don't know why one of your 2k machines should have slow network)

if you give more details of how network is set up, someone might be able to advise (eg, hub/switch/router. are you sharing internet connection, what network protocols installed on each machine).

You need to get the updated driver for the printer to use with the Win2k machine. You can download it to either pc and set it up that way.

i have the updated driver, and like i said, it does print but it takes a long time to send the info to the printer.
