Windows Internet Explorer Error proxy 502

Hello All!!

I hope someone can assist me here, as I am having a weird problem on my network regarding a proxy error on the windows 2000 pro machine.

I am running ISA firewall and have my clients using the proxy to go out to the web. Apparently on only three workstations I am getting an error 502 when the client is trying to surf our intranet/internet.

The settings are all correct and pointing to the correct IP as well as the port settings 8080.

I have tried to run a repair on the OS and that did nothing, I also tried to reinstall the OS and that did not help as well. I also rebooted the firewall, no luck.

I guess I am left to reinstall the whole system by formatting and etc...on the clients!?!?

PLEASE, PLEASE---I need help, hopefully someone is out there that can give me some suggestions.

There are a lot of 502 error types, it would help to know the details.
