Having trouble removing or adding software, Windows installer tells me another installation is already in progress. Somewhere in the system it thinks theres an install happening, but I can't find how to stop it. I haven't found any resolution on Microsoft's site. Tried a few things but nothing worked. In services, I get an error message trying to stop Windows Installer service. Any help?
