Hello

Configuration = W2K3 serviers and CPS4

There are a number of user and computer policies that run against an OU with Citrix servers in it. These work fine and all applications run ok. The servers are W2K3 Enterprise WITHOUT any SP due to various reason I won't go in to.

I want to be on the latest SP and updates - (or at least SP1), but testing with SP1 causes applications to hang at the 'Running Login Scripts' screen and the app fails to load. I know which GPO causes the problem and it has lots and lots of settings.

I'm not asking for the exact location of the problem in the GPO, but can anyone point me in the direction of possible cause for the GPO hanging.

Thanks in advance

You want to update the client or server to SP1?

Well, assuming that it's hanging at "Running login scripts" the first place that I would look is under the scripts. For for any scripts being run from Windows Settings -> Scripts -> Logon under both User Configuration and Computer Configuration.

Once you find out what scripts are running, try running them each manually to see if one of them hangs or causes a problem. If so, follow standard script troubleshooting techniques.
