i'm tryin to instal win 98 on my pc but in the middle of the installation i get this error msg. 'windows file protect' or 'missin true type font' pls i neeeeeeeeeeeeed help.

When you were installing this did you skip over any files? I have a feeling when you were installing it had trouble reading something on the cd and you told it to skip it. Try another windows 98 cd if you can or clean the disc.

Check/replace the memory. You can check it by using "Memtest86". It runs from a floppy, so not having an OS (yet) won't bother it.
