In XP Pro when I click on the Windows Explorer shortcut on the desktop it opens and then closes going back to the desktop. I can access the drives by using My Computer. Any clue what is happening?
Thanks

Does windows explorer open from the original file? (usually it is in C:\windows\explorer.exe NOTE: you may not see the .exe extension) If so, delete your shortcut and create another using the original file from above.

The shortcut may be fouled up.

Install "TweakXP" from Microsoft. Use "Repair Associations.
