Guys,

When I right click on my personal folder in the folder list and click "properties" I look at my file size and it reports my personal folder to be 18.45MB

When I look at the personal folder file size in windows explorer, it reports it as 27.5MB

Anybody knows why it is doing this or how i can synchronise the two ?? Im sure while looking at this problem a few weeks back i found a tool on the internet that repairs this problem but i havent been able to find it since !

Kind regards
John

No special tools required - In Outlook, right click on Outlook Today, Properties, Advanced button, Compact Now button. And for the record, it's not really a problem; it's a result of deleting or archiving stuff.

Sorry, forgot to mention I already have compacted this problem. Its the exact same before and after compacting - two totally different file sizes.
