Hi all,
I can't recall the setting to have windows list my files in the same format for all folders, *including* CD/DVD, can anyone point me in the right direction?

In Tools/Folder Options I've unchecked the "Remember each folders view settings", and I've set up to list details, etc. and done "Apply to all folders", but when I put in a CD or DVD, it insists on "grouping" the files by the first letter of their name and this prevents me from selecting files by doing shift-or-ctrl click on them.

It didn't used to be like this, something changed these settings and I don't know what it was.
Thanks for any help,
--Jim

Never mind. I right-clicked in a blank area and unchecked the 'show in groups' option. I'd forgotten about that...
