I cannot figure out how to delete a scheduled backup job from the Windows 2K (brain-dead) backup utility. Does anybody out there know how?

Go Start-Programs-Accessories-system tools-backup. Then click on schedule jobs tab.

Find the job you want to delete and click on it. It will bring up a window where next to the job name you can delete the job.

To dth88: Thank you for the suggestion. I've tried that multiple times, and I can't get it to work. When I go to the "Scheduled jobs" tab, I see a monthly calendar. When I click on a calendar day that has a scheduled job, the day is higlighted but nothing else happens. When I double-click on it, it brings up the Win 2K backup wizard, as if I wanted to create a new job. Has anyone else run into this behavior?

Have you tried hitting the delete key while the backup you want gone is highlighted? Jennifer Sigman

To JLSigman: Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that, and it didn't work. Moments ago I found out (by accident) how to do it: Go into Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Scheduled Tasks and delete the backup job there.
