Windows 98

I just got a brand new hard drive for my computer. I have done fdisk and formated it. And then I want to install windows 98. Does anybody know how to install winodws 98??

You must be having win98 cd. Insert that cd and reboot the system(assuming that cdrom is the first boot option in ur Bios). Select the option Start Setup with cdrom support and rest u just have to click next-next and next.

You must have the ID Number for your Win98 disk.

Another option is to use your win98 boot diskette,
boot with cd support,
create a win98 directory on your C drive,
copy the contents of the win98 folder on the win98 cd to the win98 directory on the c drive,
and then run setup from the win98 directory on the c drive.

Also need valid drivers for sound card, networkcard if any, video(graphic card etc etc
