Windows 98 Second Edition Shutting down problem

We have four pc with windows 98 second edition installed. While shuttind down the pc it got hags at the screen saying "Please wait while windows shut down". PC is getting hanged at this stage and not getting shutdown.

Please help me out.

Even though you may not be using a mapped drive install the second patch anyway as it has helped others in the past.
