Does anyone know why I cannot see the domain from a Windows 98 machine? I can see the workgroups, but can't see the server. I thought I saw a post about this a while back, but can't find it. Any ideas? Thanks!

on the identification tab, for the workgroup field, put in your domain.

You either need to make your workgroup name the same name as your domain or you need to have your 98 client join the domain.

I tried joining the client to the domain. On the identification tab, in the domain field, I typed in the domain name, which is all I thought was necessary in Win98. IT worked with all the other Win 98 machines that I have. It took it, but when I reboot and try to log on, it tells me it can't find the domain. It sees the machines on the network that are in a workgroup, but cannot see the domain. On the other workstations, the workgroup and the domain name are not the same, but in the Network Neighborhood, they can see them both.
