How do I configure the Windows 95 clients on my network to access the internet through my Windows 2000 Server? I think the 2000 Server is setup correctly but I can not access through the Windows 95 computers.

Are you running a proxy server on the W2K server ? or are you routing through the Server?

The set up will determine how you connect up the clients.
If through a proxy server. open IE > Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings. Enter the proxy server address and Port number. OK to exit

Routed set the default gateway and DNS server to that of the W2K server - assuming that routing and reomte access is correctly configged.

What protocols and network services do you have installed on both machines? Also make sure that the default gateway is set on the Win9x machines to point to the Win2k server IP. Are the Win9x machines able to access and share files across the newtork or is it only a problem when trying to access the internet? -Brad
