Windows 2K Setup, PDC

I was looking for any tips or suggestions on the migration of our Windows NT server domain to Windows 2000 server. I have done some reading on AD, but would not consider myself savvy with it. I understand that the PDC needs to be the 1st server upgraded. Will all user/server information be transferred or will this need to be re-created?
