Hello, just recently set up a Windows 2003 server running AD.

I set up each user so that they map their U: drive to a share on the server, \\<servername>\users\<username>, for example, \\myserver\users\zoplax.

However, often when the users log on, the U: drive maps to just \\myserver\users instead, not the full path.

Why is this happening? Is this a bug in Windows 2003 or is there something in AD I need to check?

The client workstations are Windows XP Professional with the latest updates.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks Robert; I worked around this by removing the home drive mapping option in the Profile tab; instead I'm using a vbscript-based logon script through a group policy.
