Hi,

I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out...

Background:

I have recently setup a new Fujitsu-Siemens server as a Windows 2003 Print Server. The OS supplied was the x64 bit edition and the server is x64 bit compatible. The domain that it is connected to, is Windows 2000 Mixed but as far as I can tell, all servers are Windows 2003 Server and clients are Windows XP Pro.

Problem:

When connected to the server both locally or via RDP I am unable to execute programs across the network. I can browse to remote shares but cannot execute the contents. Also, I am unable to install additional Windows XP drivers for the installed printers, even though I know that they are the correct version.

There seems to be a problem with admin privileges, almost as if the server is running locked down security and it somehow needs elevating.

I hope this makes sense! Your help is appreciated.

Regards

Luke.
