Windows 2003 Scheduler Exit Code

Hi Guys!

I have a Win2003 server running aproximately 32 Cognos related tasks under the Scheduled Task. It has been running fine all this time (1 year), except that today it didn't run but only 2 of the tasks!!

When I check the log in the scheduler, some of the tasks say something like:

Task Name 1
Finished 8/17/2005 11:25:06 AM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (ff) 

Task Name 2
Finished 8/17/2005 5:31:37 AM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (44d)

Task Name 3 
Finished 8/17/2005 1:00:00 AM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (80)

I have tried looking in the MS Knowledge Base for a description of these errors, but all I get is a reference for the Service Pack 1, and no other solution.

Does any of you have had the same problems? What does the exit codes mean? Where can I find more info? And most importantly, how do I make sure this doesn't happen again and assure that tonight my tasks will run?

P.S. - By the way, not one single log file was created for my Cognos proceses (DecisionStream and Transformer), except for those 2 tasks that did run.

Should've mentioned that I created bat files to run my DecisionStream and Transformer processes. So, the Scheduler runs .bat files.
