Dear All,

We have a Windows 2003 domain consisting of many many Windows XP clients. To visit them all and run a spyware removal tool would take so long the original machines would be re-infected by the time i'd finished!!

Does anybody know of any spyware removal tool that can be deployed from a server somehow?

Regards,

Rob

I have asked this questions in other forums and I havn't had too much luck.

Check out this thread: thread760-918748
jbrackett has said that the program Pest Patrol has this ability.

I have also heard of putting spy bot in your logon script with the correct parameters it is supposed to do a nice job.

We use Pest Patrol and it works great as far as you can push the client install to all your workstations, and update them as well from a central location. You can also schedule and run scans and there is a command line scanner for Windows 98 machines (if you have any).

The other product we were looking at was Webroot.

Here is good article in Info World for enterprise use.

I will take alook at that article. Basically we're after running a startup script or something that scans for and then removes spyware.
