Have any of you experienced disks being wiped out by installing Windows 2003? I have four disks on the server: 2 120G and 2 40G. Windows 2000 was on one of the 40G disk. Trying to upgrade to Windows 2003, the installation wiped out the second 40G drive and mirrored it with the 1st 40G boot disk and currupted one of the 120G disk.

Any idea what have happened? Thank you.

I upgraded a Win2000 Server with the following disk configuration without an issue:

C: 40G
D: 2*60G HW Mirrored
E: 2*120G HW Mirrored

When the 2003 install was done the drives were all there as previously.

Were you SW or HW mirroring any of the drives before the upgrade?
