Windows 2003 DHCP working on only one VLAN

We have 2 Win2000 DHCP servers working fine on Domain controllers also used as DNS and WINS servers respectively.

We are migrating to Win2003. We installed DHCP\DNS\WINS on 2 new Win2003 domain controllers. Same as 2000 servers, just running 2003 OS

One server with 10.x.x.100-177 range
One server with 10.x.x.178-254 range

These have the exact same scopes as the Win2000 DHCP servers.

To test, I shut down 2000 range on a testing subnet,then light up 2003. For some reason it is not giving out IP's on any other subnet other than the one it is on.

Server are authorized. I thought it could be an issue because I was installing it on a domain controller, so I also installed 2003 DHCP on a member server. Same result: For some reason it is not giving out IP's on any other subnet other than the one it is on.

Is this a routing issue I have on my Cisco 5500 switch where my VLANS live? Are there any caveats I am missing with deploying a 2003 DHCP server?

Ran dchploc utility, although I am not sure of the output I am reading. Can anyone enlighten me? I ran dhcploc.exe 10.1.8.50 (which is the IP of my test machine) The DHCP server is on the 10.1.10.x subnet.

Is there another command I should run? Diff syntax? I think this is telling me something is not authorized, but the 2003 servers are listed in my authorized list.

Check that you have DHCP relay set to the correct address on your routers. You may be still sending the DHCP traffic to the 2000 servers addresses.

I figured it out.

On the Cisco Router add this entry

ip helper-address 10.1.10.x
ip helper-address 10.1.10.x

And that is it....all VLAN (subnets) ar enow recieving IP addresses.
