Forgive my lack of knowledge, but I currently run Windows ME on a fairly new Computer with which I received Microsoft Works. However I need real Word,Excel and Powerpoint etc to work at home.I have a copy of Windows 2000, can I install the above of this disk, without effecting my current ME operating system?

You mean Office 2000 not Windows 2000, and yes you can run the Office 2000 suite with ME.
