I've got a windows 2000 machine. I am having problems with it shutting down improperly. Everything goes well, and powers down, except for the processor fan. the processor fan is still running as well as the LED's. I can't figure this out as my monitor and hard disks shut down. The only thing that I can think of is something in the registry is telling it to stay on.

Reboot does the same thing. Just hangs. Any help would be great on this subject. I'm looking forward to any suggestions.

P.S. I know it's not hardware. I've cloned other 2k disks on the same pc, and they work fine. Same brand/model/#'s. It's something with the OS. Please hlep.
