Hi

OK we have a NT domain at the moment, with the domain name (for example) simon

When I upgrade to 2000 Server it asks for the new domain name, now as this is upgrading the old PDC it is saying the the domain simon is no good, and really it should be something like domain.simon.com now I could just use simon.com, but my website is using so would this effect this in any way.

So really I am just asking what you guys have done, as this is a 1 off thing, that I cant really change latter.

Simon

Use simon.local it will save you alot of headaches later since you have a simon.com.

Thanks

So are you saying I should use the domain name

simon.local
or
simon.local.com

Thanks

Simon
