Hi all,

I would like to know if there are any issues running 2 Windows 2000 Advanced Servers in a Windows 2000 Server Environment, with Terminal Services running? I know this sounds like a dumb question, but can we have both verions of server running together? We would not have to upgrade our existing 2000 Servers to Advanced server would we?

I appreciate your help Joe

No there is no issue with running both versions at all. Thanks

I thought that the only difference between 2000 Server and 2000 Advanced Server was that Advanced can have a maximum number of 8 CPU's and a maximum level of 8Gb RAM, as opposed to 4 and 4 for standard Windows 2000 Server...Based on what I've read, it doesn't seem you'd have a problem.

Advance Server has the load balancing ability. That's the second difference.

yeah the cluster and processor number is the main thing. Lets not forget the $2800 dollar higher price tag either Thanks
