hello everyone ...
This is my first time that I am installing a server( windows 2000 server small buisness ) and I have a problem ...
when I was installing the server I allocated drive C as my active directory ... However, this is a very small drive and I want to change it to drive D which is much bigger one(so the users can run and store the information in drive D) I have looked at all the options and administrative tools but I couldn't find anything ... please help us

Restart your DC, press F8 to select Directory Services Restore Mode. Logon to your installation as Administrator. Make sure you know the password of the administrator account before you promo'ed the server...

From a prompt, run NTDSUTIL.

At the ntdsutil prompt, type FILES and press Enter.

(To move the database)At the File Maintenance prompt:

Type MOVE DB to <Drive:>\DatabaseFolder

Type INTEGRITY to verify your actions.

Type QUIT until you're out of NTDSUTIL.

Reboot.

You may also resize your logical disks on W2K server without reformat it. Use PQ Volume Manager from Power Qwest
