Hi we have been asked to harden a Win2K server by disabling certain services. This server will be connecting to a SAN based taped drive via TSM. My question is; would there be an issue in disabling the Removable Storage service on the Win2K server or does TSM not rely on this service and uses
its own management of media? Thanks.

There is no issue with this, in fact it is recommended to disable the service.

That's great comtec17. Thank you for the confirmation on this.
