I work for a large gas and chemical company which is currently experiencing this problem. Our in house IT Staff are looking into the problem but I thought I would see if I can jump ahead and see if anyone knows of this problem.
We have a Windows 2000 network. Many people are experiencing the following problem. Each time they logon to their pc a new windows 2000 profile is created. All their data from their old profile has to be copied over to the new profile. In some cases data has been lost!
Its happening more and more now.
Any ideas as to the cause or even better a fix?!
I'm thinking virus here.......but maybe not.
