Windows cannot locate your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be propogated to the server. DETAIL - No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept.

When a user logs onto the Domain this is the message recieved. But only some times, at other times there is no error message or alert however office 200 fails to start properly and asks for user info and initials every time its opened and printers are never retained though going to the printer page and doing a test print works fine. Can anyone shed some light on this ?

Find the folder that holds your roaming profiles, check the sharing tab in properties for a connection limit.

Office isn't starting properly and printers aren't there when this happens because the system is creating a new profile for the user since it couldn't get to their roaming profile. Marc Creviere

I thought about that too but the folder is shared with the maximum amount of users checked as opposed to a numeric limit. Also the log on thin os only happening to one user and the office thing to two other users who appear to log on fine (no alerts or error messages) FREAKY !!!!!!!!

Have you tried blowing the account away and creating it from scratch? Sometimes servers are forgetful! Glen A. Johnson

I can relate. Been there, done that, that's why I suggested it. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
