I am involved with a single pc running Windows 2000 and need to print from DOS programs. I have tried using the net use command, but receive a 67 error. Any suggestions?

I'm converting from novell to w2k and I have the same problem, I need to print from dos. Here's what I use.
net use lpt1 servername\printername In your case, I would think it's net use lpt1 printername. Make this a batch file, and throw it in your startup. Whenever the pc comes up, it'll grab that port. You may get an error message about lpt1 already in use, just ignore it. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
