OK, here is the dealie-o. I took over as administrator at a doctor's office, but before the previous admin took over, I unfortunately, did not ask what our internal domain name was. I think I probably knew what it was, but I simply brainfaded, and let the doctor (and the boss) decide which domain he wanted - he chose the one with the same name as my internal domain. Well, we have purchased the external domain, and it is being hosted by a service, but whenever I type I get a page cannot be displayed/server not found error, or if I type I get the page under construction page off of my server. The reason for this is because my internal domain is mydomainname.com. Additionally, I cannot acces the external domain by IP address either (and I have tried it from several computers, both inside and outside of my LAN/domain). So, what this leaves me with is either rename my internal domain, rename my internal domain DNS stuff so mydomainname.com does not look first and only at the server, disable completely the internal web server (if possible), redirect to the external IP address, or buy another external domain from my own pocket. I am looking for suggestions out of this... Any help would be appreciated.
