I have a problem, upon boot W2K will stop and the error message I recieve is: Some Windows files are missing or corrupt:

\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced

I used a 98 boot disk to access my NTFSPRO diskette so that I could view C: to copy ID files in case I have to re-image the drive. But it will not execute the NTFSPRO. It states that there is insuffient extended memory. What else can I do to fix this problem?

Have you tried booting to the CD and running repair?

Sometimes error messages like that are symptons of hardware problems rather than corrupt/missing files.
