Windows 2000 and two nics

hey great wise people,
Its funny how microsoft sometiems does stuff and when it doesnt work they will have a patch to fix it. Anyways back to my lil dimena. I am trying to set up two networks one internal and one external(for the internet). I have a router and 6 pcs. I tried setting up two nics with one internally(Windows 2000 DHCP) and one externally hardcoded but it is not working. Any suggestions?

could be the routing table issue. have you enabled the ip routing?

What you need is NAT.

If your router supports NAT then you don't need 2 NICs on the server. Just enable the NAT/DHCP on your router:
