The company has just ordered some new dell computers that will come with windows xp installed. The network is currently win2k all round, both server and clients. I was thinking about making a new OU with new user profiles for the specific computer as only one user will be using them. Currently romaing profiles are set up and they do not cross with 2000/xp. I was just wondering if there was any specific problems that i might run into. Any Help Apreciated.

Regards Adam

We started moving to XP last year and it all went pretty smoothly. I only noticed one problem and that was the first time a user with a 2k roaming profile logged onto an XP box it took about 3 mins to logon, after that it was just fine i'm not sure if it alters something in the users registry.
We are currently running a mix of 2k/XP without any issues and most users have roaming profiles.

Hope that helps.

Glad to hear that, thanks. I heard that SP2 causes some problems. Ill just wait and see and post up here if there is any problems. Thanks
