Windows 200 Policies

I am setting up a policy on a OU in 2000 Advanced server. There are no other policies set on the machine and it points to a batch file works perfectly if you execute it. The purpose of the policy is to map drives etc. But when logging in the policy is not run automatically and the drives are not mapped.

Ensure that the user and/or machine has read rights to the policy.
